Unfortunately, this lighthouse is inaccessible to the public🤷🏼‍♂️

The lighthouse was built in 1904 at the Fürstenwalde site of the Julius Pintsch company, which also built the identical Kolliker Ort lighthouse in the same year and the Gellen lighthouse in 1907. It was originally commissioned on April 1, 1905, as the Ranzow lighthouse on the north coast of Rügen's Jasmund peninsula, where it served as a navigation light alongside the Kolliker Ort lighthouse. The impetus for the erection of these navigation marks was the opening of the Königslinie (King's Line), a ferry service in 1897, which began operating with larger ships as a rail ferry between Sassnitz and Trelleborg in 1909.

The one-room houses, modeled on Maldivian holiday paradises, offer 40 square meters of space for a special holiday for two or alone. The Far Eastern-inspired furniture, carefully selected details and state-of-the-art technical equipment leave nothing to be desired.
