Here, mustard is still produced using traditional methods according to a centuries-old recipe. But the city has even more interesting sights to offer. But the city has even more to offer: In the heart of the historic old town stands Stadsbierhuys De Waag, the oldest restaurant in the Netherlands. Guests have been welcomed here since 1478 – in a beautiful Gothic building that once served as a weigh house. Today, you can experience the history of the Hanseatic city in a very special way while enjoying a beer and the famous Doesburg mustard soup.
