Today, these are the highlights: Concert Hall: The park's centerpiece is the oldest freestanding concert hall on the European continent (built in 1774). First-class concerts are still held here today. Grand Avenue: An impressive 600-meter-long axis of chestnut and linden trees that offers a direct view of the nearby Steinfurt Water Castle. Bagno Square: A modernly designed area with water fountains and a kiosk, ideal for a short break.

🏝️ The Ruins Island The tower ruins stand on one of the artificial islands in Lake Bagno. Symbolism: The islands in Bagno were often dedicated to specific themes (such as Arion Island to music). The Ruins Island was intended to represent the "venerableness of antiquity." Accessibility: Today, unlike Arion Island, the Ruins Island is not accessible by bridge. The tower ruins can only be admired from the shore of Lake Bagno. The best views are from the western and southern shore paths.
