Nice break opportunity on the Burgweg

To this day, members of the von Boyneburg-Stedtfeld family live below the castle ruins on the Boyneburgk estate, in the so-called new castle. The manor house is surrounded by extensive parkland (privately owned), and farm buildings and former stewards' houses are located in the immediate vicinity.

At the "Schweinerevier" hiking car park, there is a wonderful view over Nentershausen, to the Hoher Meißner and Alheimer

Next to the Byoneburgk Manor with the old manor house, the new Boyneburgk Castle is hidden in a private, inaccessible, spacious garden with a pond. It was built for Kurt von Boyneburgk in 1910 according to plans by the Eisenach architect Franz Hahn. The round tower with a French dome in the south-west corner of the new manor house is striking. Below the estate is a large public car park.
