This Werra Bridge is one of the oldest and largest bridges in Germany. It's incredibly beautiful and impressive!

The Wilhelmsglücksbrunn Abbey Estate is a beautiful place for a break along the Werra Castle Trail. The well-maintained historic grounds offer a hotel, farm shop, and cafeteria. 👍 All organic.

The historic Spichra hydroelectric power station is located on the Werra-Burgen-Steig.

Rustic stone table that offers a nice place to rest on the ascent path from Datterode to the Lehanka Hut.

An ideal starting point for hikes through and around Creuzburg. The parking lot is located directly next to the historic stone bridge and very close to the Liborius Chapel. An information board with hiking options is located at the parking lot.

I've ridden over several times on my e-bike. Heading towards Eisenach, or from there, or coming from the Ringgau region, heading home towards Witzenhausen. So far, anyway, it's always been beautiful. 😎🚴🏾‍♀️🚴🏾‍♀️ Will it stay that way? 🤔

Nice break opportunity on the Burgweg

To this day, members of the von Boyneburg-Stedtfeld family live below the castle ruins on the Boyneburgk estate, in the so-called new castle. The manor house is surrounded by extensive parkland (privately owned), and farm buildings and former stewards' houses are located in the immediate vicinity.
