The Goglhof was built in 1767 mainly from the dowry of a miller's daughter from Holnstein, who married here in 1765. The profile framework on the east gable is unique in the Upper Palatinate. The ceiling of the room and the decorations in the roof truss testify to the craftsmanship of the carpenters of the time. At its core, the house is still as it was back then, as many hundreds of farmhouses in this area with the black kitchen and the German fireplace and the spacious room around the sedate tiled stove. In the outbuildings you can see a collection of old agricultural implements and much more.

The Goglhof open-air museum is located in the north of the Amberg / Sulzbach district in Eberhardsbühl. The Friends' Association of the Museum is the Freundeskreis Goglhof e.V. The farm is owned by Margarete Jäkel. A look at the calendar: Events 2020, starting at 7 p.m .: 24.01.2020 Friday at 7 p.m. Upper Palatinate sayings and wisdom with Josef Schmaußer 28.02.2020 Friday at 7 p.m. Dieter Radl invites with the words: "Kumm. " 27.3.2020 Friday at 7 p.m. Hans Pirner comes from Bernricht and organizes the evening as he is, namely under the title "An evening in the parlor". 24.04.2020 Friday at 7 p.m. "Viecherei" by and with Walter Tausendpfund. In the first half of May an acting troupe comes from Sulzbach-Rosenberg and plays the play by Helma Koch "The first medical officer".
