Whether it is fresh, windy or cold depends of course on the weather, I always had lovely warm and sunny weather. So making a highlight dependent on this is a bit strange. Whether you are already on the way up or on the way up, whether at the mountain station of the Breitenbergbahn, on the Geo-Weg or up at the Ostlerhütte, you have a wonderful view of the Allgäu valley from everywhere. The view stretches from Nesselwang over Kempten in the distance, over the Upper and East Allgäu mountains, lakes and villages to Füssen and the fairytale castles, as well as into the Austrian valley near Vils and Reutte. On the other side you can see the Aggenstein and Brentenjoch, as well as the Bad Kissinger Hütte. From the mountain station of the Hochalpbahn the view then widens further into the Tannheimer valley.
