There are many opportunities for a short panoramic break along the way around the lake.

If you stand on the Salober and look precisely between the two spruce trees, you can clearly see the Zugspitze massif in the background.

From the summit of the Zwölferkopf, you have a fantastic view over the Vils valley. In the photo, you can see the Falkenstein castle ruins and the Marian grotto located in the rock crevice below.

Steep and narrow climb through the forest from the Alatsee to the Zweiseenblick. In places very high steps over tree roots. Shortly before the Zweiseenblick, the Hahnenkopfweg branches off to the right. From here, walk a few meters up to the left to the bench with a wonderful view.

The Einerkopf is one of several peaks on the Falkenstein ridge. You have to leave the ridge path a little to find yourself on a viewing platform above the Vilstal valley.
