The round trip over the Breitenberg, the Heubatspitze to the Rotspitze with the via ferrata Hohe Gänge is simply fantastically beautiful and the via ferrata is very doable 👌🏼⛰️🧗‍♂️😉

These are not stone pines, but mountain pines.

When the weather is good, you can see a beautiful panorama from Breitenberg. I would pack €3 so that you can buy water if your water bottle is empty. I don't think you need any equipment because there is only a small climbing section on the descent to Hinterstein. It is also important to mention that there is no alpine pasture on the way, so pack food. For the tour, I would recommend taking the ascent via Häbelesgund, as it is more in the shade. But don't forget that this tour has an elevation of 1000 meters, so fitness is also important.

We came from the Edelrid via ferrata and descended towards Wiedhag Alpe. A great hiking trail that is secured with wire ropes to hold on to in difficult places 👍🏼
