Dechsendorfer Weiherの周りは素晴らしい散歩道です。北岸には素晴らしいキオスクがあり、イースターから晩秋まで営業しています。反対側の水浴場には、夏の間営業している小さなキオスクもあります。 さらに、近くにはたくさんの宿屋/ビアガーデンがあります。 すべて、立ち寄り休憩を伴う日帰り旅行に最適です。

From the "Forsthaus" inn, you have a beautiful view over the Great Bishop's Pond (Dechsendorfer Weiher), and in good weather, you can even enjoy a beautiful sunset over the pond. In summer, the "Forsthaus" hosts wonderful events on Thursdays with live music and, for example, "barbecue, all you can eat," etc.

That means, in summer, a lot of grey geese that poop all over the meadow (actually a lawn with a bathing area)

In spring, when all the birds have hatched, it must be teeming with small waterfowl

The MRD canal is always ideal for great trips between Fürth (Solarberg) and Forchheim. Hardly any inclines, lots of opportunities to stop for a break, great scenery - it's simply a must to do.
