A short detour is well worth it – the Piske observation tower offers a magnificent panoramic view over the wild and romantic Vils Valley. The Aldersbach monastery and especially the church are particularly worth seeing! A visit to the Bräustüberl is a must!

The Vilsauen near Schönerting offer a good opportunity to switch off.

The tower offers a beautiful view of the Vilsauen near Mattenham. One of the cycling and hiking trails leads past here, some of which is paved.

Super nice bike path, sometimes you don't see that much of the Vils, but the path is nice to ride and varied. Compared to the Danube before, the Vils and the cycle path offer a lot to look at. Absolute driving recommendation for the route along the Vils!

Easy to drive bike path in a beautiful landscape; some with great views of the rapids.

A stop is almost a must. A great destination or stopover.
