The Sacro Monte di Brissago is a pilgrimage site located on the sacred mountain. The central building is the Chapel of Santa Maria Addolorata, built in late Baroque style. There are various chapels in the immediate vicinity of the main chapel and they are all connected by paths, it is worth visiting the surroundings calmly.
