Viborg Cathedral is a magnificent Romanesque church that stands as a central landmark in the city. While the current building is largely a 19th-century reconstruction, it is renowned for the incredible frescoes by artist Joakim Skovgaard that adorn its interior. These vibrant paintings tell the story of the Bible and are a truly stunning sight to behold. It's a powerful and historically significant place that is well worth a visit.

A very beautiful cathedral ... inside and out

Nørresø Lake, situated near the historic town of Viborg, is a serene and scenic spot perfect for nature lovers. The lake is surrounded by beautiful landscapes, making it ideal for walking, cycling, or birdwatching.

Great place for one night.

Viborg Cathedral, a very beautiful and large church that can also be visited.

A quiet, beautiful route along Nørresø with a beautiful view of Viborg on the other side

Very nice small park with lots of beautiful flowers, a fantastic view of Nørresø, playground, possibility to go pedal boating, or in summer a small trip on the lakes with the small ship Margrethe I.

Absolutely impressive the cathedral.
