During your run, you'll enjoy a magnificent panoramic view over the expansive fields all the way to the sea. It's especially beautiful in the evening hours, when the landscape is bathed in a very special light.

From here, you have a fantastic view of Rubjerg Knude, a shifting dune between Lønstrup and Løkken. The cliffs are up to 1,900 meters long and 400 meters wide. The dune itself is over 70 meters high.

Hidden in the picturesque landscape of North Jutland, near Lønstrup and Hjørring, lies Vennebjerg Mølle, a historic windmill that is now preserved as a living testimony to Danish cultural history. The original mill was built between 1859 and 1861 by the brothers Poul and Anders Nielsen. It was originally called “Dale Mølle” before being renamed Vennebjerg Mølle in 1888. Particularly noteworthy is the mill's mast, which was salvaged from the wreck of a Swedish steamer that sank off Rubjerg in 1921 after a shipping accident and was used to repair the mill. Over the years, the mill has been restored several times to save it from decay. In the 1980s, the local initiative "Vennebjerg Mølles Venner" restored the mill again, which means that it has been preserved today as a historical monument. On the ground floor of the mill is the ceramic café Møllehuset, a café that invites you to linger with its rustic charm. Here you can not only enjoy homemade treats and refreshing drinks, but also admire the unique ceramic works of art made by the owners themselves. Each piece, whether tableware or decoration, is handmade and tells its own story. Vennebjerg Mølle is an impressive testimony to Danish mill history. Although its wings are now standing still, it remains a fascinating monument to the past.
