The best place to take beautiful sunset photos (with or without a camera) isn't directly on the beach, but here! Just make sure it's not too windy... [I'm sure I'll find some cloud-free photos from one of my summer stays... ;-) ]

It's very charming how the water winds through the dunes and over the beach, and how its surface reflects the sky.

A beautiful desert hike. There are various routes up, but it's worth taking the longer southern route.

Vennebjerg Mill is beautifully situated in the hills behind the Lönstrup holiday home area. From the restored windmill, you have a magnificent view of Rubjerg Knude and the North Sea.

Stunning coastal path from Skallerup Klit to Lønstrop, but it can be explored in either direction either as a part or the whole thing. Beautiful views of the North Sea and the beach and rock formations.

A fantastic hiking region with great views of the beach and the North Sea. Close to Hirstals for an easy train connection or there are plenty of parking options in the area. You can spend hours exploring the dunes and beach paths, with a few good coffee options nearby for a break.
