Along the straightened Litz river near Schruns, two beautiful gravel paths run along both sides, lined with lovely old houses and trees. A must for both walkers and cyclists. One is called the Hermann Sander Trail, the other the Doktor Vonbun Trail.

The Litzpromenade, with its linden tree avenue, runs along both sides of the Litz as a shared footpath and cycle path from Schruns to Tschagguns, with one side designed as a literary trail with poems and quotations in the Montafon dialect.

Very idyllic. But also expensive ;)

If you want to cycle the Montafon cycle path, you can change to the bicycle bus 650 from Bludenz and ride to Kops Zeinisjoch.

Great for driving even when it's quite hot under the trees along the creek it's very cool.

Very nice area, unfortunately found almost nothing to stop off.
