A lovely place to stop for refreshments with a fantastic view - located directly on the groomed winter hiking trail.

The Hirschbergalpe is situated in a scenic location below the Hirschberg mountain and offers a cozy place to stop for refreshments on the meadow slopes above Langen. Surrounded by cows, wooden barns, and mountain views, you can enjoy genuine Vorarlberg alpine idyll here. It's the perfect spot to take a short break on the terrace or a bench before continuing towards the summit or back down into the valley.

Camping Hochlitten enjoys a peaceful location on a high plateau and is an ideal starting point for hikes, bike rides, and winter tours around Hochlitten and Riefensberg. Pitches with views of meadows, forests, and mountains provide a true Alpine camping experience. Perfect for those who appreciate being close to nature and having easy access to trails and cross-country ski tracks.

From this vantage point, you can enjoy an impressive view of the Nagelfluh mountain range, whose peaks rise like a jagged line above the valley. Depending on the light, the mountains appear either softly green or ruggedly alpine. It's the perfect panoramic stop for a short break, a photo, and a moment of wonder.

A historic border stone on the ridge of the Fluh/Imberg trail marks the inconspicuous yet clear border between Germany and Austria. Located in the middle of the narrow mountain path, it's a special spot where you can cross the border with a single step. Ideal for a quick photo stop with a sense of the border and a view.

The Vordere Fluh mountain inn enjoys a scenic location overlooking the valley and is usually a popular stop for hikers and families. Although it was closed today, the terrace, playground, and view of the Rhine Valley still make it a worthwhile place to rest. It's best to check opening times in advance if you plan to visit.

It's outrageous that they forbid walking with a dog on a public, marked hiking trail – just because it crosses the property. An alternative route MUST be found, for example, going around the property instead of directly past the house. Today I simply walked across the meadow – only to discover that dogs are also prohibited on the ridge trail 🙈 Unfortunately, we can't fly. There was NEVER any sign indicating that this is a dead end! I would never recommend this alpine pasture.

This hut completely blocks the hiking trail for dog owners; you can't walk past it and have to turn around. We were coming from the Kojenstein and wanted to pass this alpine pasture on our way to the Imbergbahn cable car. There's no alternative!
