新しいリヒトブルネン（Lichtbrunnen）は、かつての旧市街の中心を象徴する約9メートルの高さの彫刻です。1945年まではホーフベルク（Hofberg）が市場広場とされていました。この彫刻は、かつての噴水をマークする丸くて平らな台座に続いています。この台座は同時に座る場所としても機能し、休憩を誘います（写真参照...）。この彫刻は、Altstadt neu協会によって発案され、Linz AGによって資金提供され、Tp3 Architektenによって設計されました。その効果は夕方になって初めて完全に現れます。

ザンクト・ヴォルフガングは、ヴァイセ・レーゼル（Weiße Rössl）によって世界的な名声を得ました。数多くの狭い路地を散策し、この場所の美しさを捉えるのがおすすめです。

遊泳場は遊歩道沿いに直接位置しています。芝生のある典型的なビーチではなく、大きな木造の構造物があり、そこから水への階段があります。

St. Wolfgang am Wolfgangsee is particularly captivating due to its picturesque location directly on Lake Wolfgang. The historic town center, with its winding streets, colorful houses, and cozy inns, invites you to linger. The region is particularly popular for cycling excursions: well-developed cycle paths run along Lake Wolfgangsee, alternating idyllic shoreline stretches with gentle climbs and magnificent views of the lake. Longer tours into the vast Salzkammergut region are also possible from here, opening up diverse landscapes between lakes, meadows, and mountains. After a bike ride, you can enjoy the lively hustle and bustle of the lakeshore in the town itself or take a relaxing boat trip. St. Wolfgang is an ideal starting point for cyclists who want to combine nature, culture, and Austrian hospitality.

Magnificent view over the lake; simply idyllic and romantic

Covering an area of 3.2 hectares, the Volksgarten is the largest and one of the oldest inner-city parks in the Upper Austrian capital of Linz. It is located in the Innere Stadt district, in the Volksgartenviertel district named after him, between the main train station and Landstraße. It houses several monuments, including those of Franz Stelzhamer and Sebastian Kneipp. The Linz Music Theater is directly adjacent to the park. The Volksgarten hosts events several times a year.

These days, everything here is purely touristy. The charm of St. Wolfgang/Wolfgangsee has been lost somewhere along the way. It's a shame, but that's the way it is.

Beautiful park with all kinds of opportunities to do water sports in the summer. There are also cafes and a snack bar.
