It was opened in 1974, is located on the Danube and serves as an important venue for classical music and cultural events. The Brucknerhaus is known for its excellent acoustics and hosts the Brucknerfest every year, which attracts renowned artists and orchestras from all over the world. The building was designed by Finnish architects Heikki and Kaija Siren and is characterized by a modernist architectural style.
