The Rossköpfe offer a wonderful panoramic view of the Stubai and Ötztal mountain peaks. They are a little-known summit destination close to the popular ski tour mountains around Kühtai. A real treat, especially in the pre- and post-season, that you often have all to yourself.

At 2,884 m, the Riezer Grießkogel is the highest peak in the Northern Sellrain Mountains in the Stubai Alps. The view, especially of the Wetterstein Mountains but also of the Karwendel, Innsbruck, etc., is excellent. In summer, the mountain can be reached by a fairly easy hike, only about 1,000 meters in altitude must be covered. However, the mountain is much more popular in winter for ski tours.

I've already spent a ski weekend in this hut. Simple shared rooms, good sanitary facilities, and a rustic restaurant with good food. Can only be recommended.
