Looking toward Seekarlspitze, a garden gnome is hiding on the next peak, which was probably placed there over ten years ago. Although, it's not exactly "hiding." The little fellow has a wonderful panoramic view from his position. Only the distance makes him difficult to spot, especially if you don't know he's there.

The Grubersee is located in the middle of the Rofan Mountains. On a compass map it is also listed as Grubasee, although Grubersee is probably the correct term. Grubasee is the colloquial term for the very small mountain lake in the Rofan.
