Sulztalalm is closed due to renovations!

It's a great place to hike up and sled down in winter. You can rent sleds right at the hut and simply park them at the end of the sled run.

Easily accessible from the Winnebachseehütte, with beautiful views into the valley. Along the way, you'll reach a large rocky outcrop with a stunning view of the waterfall from up close.

Small hut/shelter to stay in. I took a short break here on the way up to the Winnebachseehütte. From here, no phone reception.

The parish church of St. Catherine belongs to the deanery of Silz in the Diocese of Innsbruck. The church and cemetery are listed as historical monuments. The church was first mentioned in 1303 and consecrated in 1352. The elongated church building, with its core in late Gothic style, was rebuilt in 1518, presumably by Jakob von Tarrenz. Here, next to the hiking trail to the Nisslalm, the stream rushes into the valley - simply wonderful.

On your ride through the idyllic Sulztal valley, the crunch of your studded tires is accompanied by the rushing water of the Fischbach stream. The mountain stream runs through the middle of the valley, and the wide, rocky avenue demonstrates just how much water flows here.
