The old restaurant is already closed and is being demolished. At the mountain station of the Schlossalm cable car in Bad Hofgastein, a modern mountain restaurant called "Kleine Scharte neu" is being built for the upcoming winter season. Groundbreaking took place at the beginning of April this year, and the opening is planned for mid-December 2025. The Türchlwand can be reached from the Schlossalm mountain station in 2 hours. It is a well-marked hiking trail. One short section is secured with a rope.

The climb was worth it. From the Rastötzenalm over the Tennkogel and Frauenkogel to the Gamskarkogel. The cross on the Frauenkogel is simply beautiful and definitely worth a visit.
