この周回コースは非常に変化に富んでいます。舗装された平坦な道もあれば、木の根が張り出した道や、石や枝が転がる道もあります。飽きることがありません。対岸の素晴らしい景色を常に楽しむことができ、どの場所もそれぞれにとても美しいです。

ここからは、ヴェルター湖とその背後に広がるパノラマを一望できるユニークな景色が楽しめます。カラヴァンケン山脈からユリアン・アルプス、そしてヴィラッハー・アルペまで見渡すことができます。 山々のパノラマとヴェルデン湾を上から眺めるのに最適な、複数人用のベンチが2つあります。残念ながら下を通る高速道路の音が聞こえますが、このパノラマがあれば十分に無視できます😉。 転落の危険性に関する注意書きの看板があるので、少し注意してください。しかし、崖から距離を保っていれば危険はありません。 その他、目の前に広がる山々の名前が記された大きな案内板もあります。

The freely accessible Hochwart Castle ruins, also known as the "Black Castle," serve as a reminder of the dramatic end of the once mighty fortress of the Counts of Celje, whose line died out in 1456. Destroyed in a succession dispute, the castle was never rebuilt; today, parts of the main tower and walls of the 12th-century chapel still stand in the forest. However, the ruins are unsecured and at risk of collapse, situated partly on steep slopes, and the last 600 meters are only accessible on foot.

The Forstsee lake is largely untouched and can be freely used for swimming. Apart from a few facilities, there are no significant buildings or structures. A hiking trail runs around the lake, and on the western shore is a listed section of an ancient road.
