The observation tower on the Kahlenberg, the Stefaniewarte, was built in 1887 by the Kahlenbergbahn company and named after Crown Princess Stephanie. The tower was designed by the architectural firm Fellner & Helmer, who are also responsible for many other well-known buildings. The 22-meter-high observation tower offers a breathtaking view and became a popular destination for visitors after its completion.
