Sandwich is a charming and historic town in Kent, known for its well-preserved medieval architecture and picturesque streets. Deal Pier is an important local landmark that offers excellent views of the Deal Sea and features a glass-walled cafe/restaurant at the end. It is internationally recognized as a fishing location. The pier is the last fully intact recreational pier in Kent. It is the third pier in existence in Deal and was opened in November 1957 by the Duke of Edinburgh.

Large Norman church that’s undergone some changes. Quiet grounds with shady areas.

Wind swept with a small cafe on the end . Not for cyclists as they in force the no bikes on the pier rules with force.
