The Old Hao Road is a relatively straight, fast singletrack trail on an old fire road. This is a great way to climb up to Pig Skull Trail, a tough climb through the jungle, and complete the Kaloko Loop. There is also a trail, Middle Road, that cuts the loop in half if you want to shorten your ride, or skip the Jurassic Park Trail, a technical descent that completes the loop.

The Jurassic Park Trail is a short, switchbacking trail that connects the Flat Top Trail to the Tree Stump Trail. This tight technical descent through a rooty jungle to a dead end street where you can park you car, but you can also take a trail just before the trail poster board, Tree Stumps Trail, and to meet up along Old Hao Road to complete the Kaloko Loop.

The Kahakapo Loop Trail is a smooth singletrack trail that winds through a dense forest with ferns and moss cover rocks lining the trail. For the best downhill experience ride the trail in a clockwise direction.

Ohana Trail has a great series of switchbacks. The trail is bidirectional, so be ready for a technical climb or a fun descent.

Ohana Trail is a popular hiking, running, and biking destination. The trail travels through lush native forest with sporadic overlook views. This is a great weekday trail for some solitude as its a bit more crowded on the weekends.

There is an old WWII observation hut "pillbox" that you can enter and many people climb on top to get views of the ocean.

Ka'ena Point is a nature preserve at the northwestern tip of O'ahu. It is home to many species of seabirds and plants. The tip is located a few hundred feet away from here, but you must dismount your bike to reach it. The hike is easy and worth it as you might be able to spot whales in the distance.
