This quaint village dates back to the Roman and Saxon era. The village is mentioned in the Domesday Book and has a number of historic buildings including Farningham Mill, a former water mill, and a church that dates back to the 13th century. There is also a local pub, tea room and independent shops.

Lovely little village to cycle through

A quite and small little church just on the edge of the countryside, I have passed directly through it several times.

It's an extremely nice park in the heart of Dartford, I have passed through several times and have loved it each time. There's also a lake in the park with several places to sit and take it all in. Highly recommended visiting.

The viaduct saw its first trains in July 1858 when the East Kent Railway extended its line from Strood to Bromley, and comprises ten arches sandwiched within an overall length of approximately 390 foot.
