The view from the suspension bridge over the gorge is particularly impressive, offering a perfect opportunity to appreciate the depth and dynamics of the river. The Entenloch Gorge impressively combines nature, geology, and history—a place where you can feel the power of water and the passage of time.

The path on the north side of Lake Taubensee leads idyllically along the shore, offering repeated, beautiful views of the crystal-clear, shimmering turquoise water. The narrow trail winds through a shady forest over rocks and roots. It is easy to walk, but requires surefootedness in some places.

With water temperatures reaching up to 24°C in the summer months, the 100-hectare Walchsee lake is a swimming paradise. Waterskiing, electric boats, and pedal boats are available for exploring the lake. The beautifully landscaped lake promenade, with its manicured green spaces and shallow waters, invites you to stroll and swim.

Lake Walchsee, at the foot of the imposing Kaiser Mountains, is not only one of the most beautiful but also one of the warmest lakes in Tyrol. This makes it a popular bathing lake and a true flagship of the Kaiserwinkl region in the Tyrolean lowlands – in fact, Lake Walchsee was even immortalized with a blue wave in the village coat of arms of the municipality of the same name.
