Cycle path with good surface - it's easy to roll here

Half-timbered house from 1444. Rebuilt after a fire in 1697

At its core, it's a Romanesque choir tower church. Its three-story tower features four watchtowers and a high dome. Inside, a remarkable winged altarpiece from a Nuremberg school dating from the early 16th century. A baptismal font angel dates from 1728.

Easy to navigate. Unfortunately, parts are very open and prone to wind.

Really beautiful side valley with Allgäu feeling!

The church was built as a choir tower church with the choir tower in the east, a nave in the west and a sacristy in the north. The oldest parts are in the nave (west and south portals with larger connected sections of the wall) and can be dated to the early 11th century. In the third quarter of the 15th century the church was rebuilt and the choir tower was rebuilt. In 1586 the tower was rebuilt from yellow-brown sandstone blocks. It is three-storey and is topped by an octagonal spire with four watchtowers (height: 49 metres).
