A family-friendly nature reserve where you can spot an array of bird life throughout the year. Enjoy idyllic walks through its wetlands and there's an adventure playground for kids. There's a cafe too to refuel hungry bellies!

Abandoned Train station that closed 1984. restoration started in 1994 and finally closed in 2020

If all you want here is a coffee, its cheaper to buy one in the Shop than in the upstairs cafe 👍

The Manvers Boat House is situated next to Manvers Lake and offers water sports equipment rental. It also has a cafe with outdoor benches available and it's a great place to sit and admire the lake. They also have a club which runs a variety of activities, check for opening times and prices.

The Transpennine Trail runs through RSPB wetlands so it’s a great place to visit by bike. It has a really good visitors centre and cafe too.
