The Dreisbach is a tributary of the Ahr River, approximately 10 km long. It rises near the North Rhine-Westphalian towns of Rohr and Lammersdorf and flows into the Ahr near Fuchshofen. There are several fish ponds along the river.

On Adenauer Marktplatz in the center of town, there is an ensemble of historic buildings, some of which are listed monuments. The market fountain was constructed from basalt columns. The house at Stein am Markt 8, built in 1630, has been protected by the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict since 1992.

34 steles along the Ahr are intended to commemorate the flood disaster in July 2021; one such stele can be found on the Ahr cycle path.

Neublankenheim Castle, located on the edge of the Ahbach Valley, has a varied history spanning over 700 years. First mentioned in 1272, the castle passed into the possession of the Counts of Manderscheid after the Blankenheim family died out. As early as the 16th century, the castle complex began to decay until it was acquired by the Duke of Aremberg in 1769. Today, the ruins, which were extensively renovated in 2005 and 2006 and thus saved from complete decay, belong to the Vulkaneifel district.
