Church square in Gänheim. The hamlet of Gänheim is located in the eastern part of the Main-Spessart district at approximately 215 m above sea level and borders the Schweinfurt district. The municipality also includes the hamlet of Ruppertzaint, the Lindenhain farm, and the isolated settlement of Aumühle. The small Wern River flows through the village, into which the Hörleinsgraben flows from the right just before the village boundary.
