I did exactly what Dirk described. I took the train from Jena to Camburg and then cycled along the Zuckerbahn cycle path. After a slight climb, the path becomes very flat and has many crossings over more or less busy roads. Of course, there are also many bridges. Orientation was sometimes difficult, but my intuition helped. Zeitz is very beautiful, but finding the Elster cycle path to Gera from there isn't easy. Still doable. 😁 Highly recommended.

Great new cycle path along the Elster River. The Mühltal valley is almost even more beautiful. My recommendation is to follow the cycle path as it was sketched there and take your time in the Mühltal valley to enjoy it. And all without any inclines, wonderful!!

But the old knight soon ordered the wedding with the groom he had chosen. On the eve of the wedding, the old knight threw a wild feast with the groom, whom his daughter disliked. Late that night, when all the knights were drunk, the girl fled the castle. Since she absolutely did not want to become the wife of her father's drinking companion and knew no way out, she threw herself into the pond in despair.
