Enchanting woodland awaits at the start of the hike towards Norway's most iconic peak, Stetind. The stream to the west of the trail tumbles down towards the fjord, creating lovely cascades.

Nestled below the iconic Stetind, Svartvatnet Lake is an excellent objective for a hike. From here, you can continue up towards Halls fortopp for more glorious views. As appearances suggest, Stetind requires rock climbing skills and equipment.

The views from this plateau on the way up Halls fortopp are superb. The final ascent to the summit from here is steeper, so some choose to come this far and admire the vista, before heading back.
