Preikestolen Basecampには、ハイキングの前後に必要なものがすべて揃っています。トイレ、カフェ、ショップが敷地内にあります。ショップでは、お土産や一般的な観光グッズのほか、ハイキング用品も見つかります。適切な靴を持っていない場合は、ハイキングシューズを借りることもできます。 Basecampのすぐ下、フィヨルドのすぐそばには、水上から周辺を探索できる機会もあります。スタンドアップパドルやカヤックを借りて、フィヨルドを一周することができます。

Fantapytten is a natural rock pool located on the Kjerag plateau. Often referred to as the "infinity pool", it sits right on the edge of the cliff, offering a dramatic view straight down into the Lysefjord. It is a popular spot for photos, but the location is quite exposed and the routes to reach it may be on technical or hazardous terrain. Make sure you are well prepared.

The view from Førlandsåsen offers a wide, accessible coastal panorama. Due to its moderate elevation, the viewpoint presents an expansive vista over the surrounding heath, forests, and cultivated fields. Crucially, the view often captures a significant portion of the ocean and coastline, including the dramatic transition where the land meets the sea, making it a popular spot for scenic photography.

Even the hike up to Preikestolen is an experience.
