Aurstaupet is often referred to as Mini-Trolltunga. After a short hike, you suddenly find yourself standing at the edge of Aurstupet. Keep your distance, as it is several hundred meters down. But the view from up here is magnificent.

You will need sturdy shoes, a reasonable level of fitness and a head for heights – then you can enjoy the trail around Göksøyra and the magnificent surroundings with their spectacular views.

The route up to Göksøyra requires you to be in good physical condition and have a head for heights. But once you've made it to the top, you'll be standing on the edge of Goksøyra, also known as the „Eresfjord Monument“. From the summit, you will have breathtaking views of the emerald green lake Eikesdalsvatnet and the surrounding peaks of Møre og Romsdal.

If you dare to come closer, we will feel the power and the force of the water, so take rain jackets with you and don't leave them in the car because the sun is shining, you will need them. But it is incredible to feel the waterfall like this. 🤗

The waterfall shuts off the water in October and turns it on again in April, crazy . That's I believe the trade-off from the 1970 protests where it would have fallen victim entirely to energy gain.
