On the French-German border, in the middle of the forest, this dirt road with red hues creates a superb contrast with the green of the trees. A soothing spectacle during your bike rides.

The rock jumps are amazing and simply impressive. The path along them is not always that great, but I would still recommend everyone to see it in real life and in color.

If you take a break, you won't rust here, but will find a great location. It's worth stopping by even with kids.

To the right of the hiking lodge (near the fire pond) is the "Jahn Oak" (marked with a corresponding stone). This old oak was named after Friedrich Ludwig Jahn (1778 - 1852), better known as "Turnvater Jahn". There is also a memorial stone here to mark the 100th anniversary of the death of "Turnvater Jahn".
