Most of the trail to the Seewaldhütte is very easy to navigate. However, from the Jochalm onward, the trail becomes quite steep, and the terrain is partly gravelly. This requires some practice on the ascent and descent, and is not recommended for beginners.

If you want to take the same route back down to Achenkirch, poles are definitely recommended.

Ski tour on a prime viewing mountain on Lake Achensee. The Guffert, the Unnutz and the Rofan Mountains dominate the view during the ascent. Technically very easy up to the Falkenmoosalm, then moderately difficult in places up to the summit. The 900 m ascent extends over five and a half kilometers.

Between the trees you have a great view of Lake Achensee, which stretches shimmering blue in the valley between the mountains.

After the Seekaralm, the path becomes increasingly steeper and rockier along the ridge.

Beautiful hike to the Köglalm. Entrance to the hiking trail directly behind the Gasthaus Hirschen. The food on offer at the Köglalm is very limited (cakes and snacks)
