It's a MUST-SEE in itself, somewhat reminiscent of the Tomb of the Giant in Botassart, with fewer spruce trees and more meadows!

The Vieux-Thiers Viewpoint in Esneux is a panoramic point that is part of a hiking trail that follows the old connection between Mont and the valley. The trail starts with a staircase of 156 steps, which used to be the only way between these two areas. From the viewpoint you have a beautiful view of the surroundings, including the Ourthe and the surrounding forests.

This spectacular ridge walk follows the rocky heights above the Ourthe valley and offers several breathtaking views, including the iconic La Roche aux Faucons. The route winds through forest, over stony paths and past clearings where you can spot lizards and orchids bloom in spring. Along the way you pass three viewpoints, two of which have benches. The paths are well marked but sometimes narrow and uneven – sturdy shoes are recommended!
