Not the most picturesque waterway, but just having the sound of the water accompanying us as we walk is a pleasure, and I prefer this forest path to the asphalt roads in the woods that run parallel to it.

The path is a bit wide but at least it's not paved. Great for mountain biking or gravel, a little less hairy hiking, it's still a very beautiful place.

Here, at the highest point of Saint-Michel, you are in the middle of the Saint-Michael-Freyr forest. There is a wonderful beech forest all around. There is even a place to sit here, which allows you to linger for a while.

To the south of the Libramont exhibition center lies the almost 25-hectare landscape park. Here you will find a cross-country skiing and mountain biking trail, hiking trails, a fitness trail and watering holes that invite you to linger and watch the animals. Major events are also regularly held at the exhibition center, such as the annual Belgian Agricultural and Forestry Fair, which is Europe's largest open-air agricultural fair.
