The oldest church in the province of Luxembourg after Waha. The massive tower is original (1064). The ceiling and the choir date from 1657, the entrance drum of the porch from 1739, the bell from 1589 and the tombs from the 18th and 19th centuries. Inside is a high altar in Louis XIII style.

The basilica is a real history book on architectural evolution, from the Romanesque style to the exuberance of the Gothic and Renaissance. The Baroque facade from the early 18th century contrasts with the interior, where the light makes the colours of the materials so intense: blue, yellow, pink stones, marble and wood.
