The hamlet has a modest church, built in 1789, which includes a pastoral house and a chapel. Under the current zinc plating, hides a Latin chronogram bearing the maxim ad auxilium ovilis repullulo ("I am reborn to help the sheepfold"). The organs are listed: the Louis XVI-style case dates from the end of the 18th century. Among the statues, you can find one dating from the 16th century: that of Saint Anthony the hermit, austere and emaciated.

In memory of the crew of the Short Stirling bomber that was shot down here on 12 June 1943 with eight crew members. Also note the military symbol which says "New Zealand Squadron" (part of the RAF) with the words Ake Ake Kia Kaha underneath. Aké! Aké! Kia Kaha E! was the marching song of the 28th (Māori) Battalion of the New Zealand Army.

At the intersection of the cycle path and a walking path in nature with a nature path that was enlivened by students of the local school towards Bèfve. There is a bench and next to it a chapel. The bench was occupied by people so I did not disturb them for photos.

Clermont, of unknown origin, was officially recorded in history on 8 November 1230 with a charter signed by Jean d’Eppes, Bishop of Liège, who recognised the parish as separate from the church of Herve. In 1411, the Lordship of Clermont became an independent Lordship of the Duchy of Limburg. The French regime then added its territory to the canton of Aubel, while the Germans annexed part of the territory of Clermont during the Second World War. The village of Clermont is undoubtedly the most characteristic village in the Herve region because of the centuries-old architecture of its houses and its square with houses in the Liège Louis XIII, Louis XIV and Louis XV style. The Place de la Halle in Clermont-sur-Berwinne is often presented as a homogeneous architectural ensemble that offers the opportunity to discover the different styles that have followed one another in these regions. In 1888, the old town hall was demolished. And a new ensemble was built that aims to pleasantly recreate the situation at the time of the Mosan Renaissance. The turret is new: it is called "La poivrière". Underneath it is a sculpted shield representing Saint James the Elder. In the centre of the village lies the Place de la Halle, where many old buildings can be found. This gently sloping, paved square is separated by a narrow grass island for almost its entire length. The main buildings on this square include the church, the Pirenne house and the former town hall. The square also has a small heritage site, consisting of a limestone water pump, a fountain with a stone basin, a white-painted cast iron crucifix and a bluestone niche with the Virgin Mary and Child. In earlier times, a market was held on the village square, in front of the L'hôtel de Ville. As this was tax-free for merchants, it attracted numerous market traders to Clermont.
