Beautiful hiking trail through the Rastenbach Gorge over many steps. Various viewpoints, waterfalls and a hiking trail along the stream make the effort worthwhile.

The Schwarzenbach rises at the Weißhorn and flows on the outskirts of Auer into the Etsch. For a long time it was a danger to Auer because floods occurred again and again. The waterfall in the Schwarzenbachklamm is very beautiful.

The Schwarzenbach has its source at the 2439 m high Schwarzhorn and, with a few changes of direction, flows west towards the Adige Valley.
