Above the hamlet of Ulfas, starting from the marked car park, hikers will find hiking trails of all kinds. The forest path to the Ulfaser Alm is a very easy hike with no obstacles. Ideal for families with small children. A irrigation canal path, alpine paths and dream peaks round off the offer. Ulfaser visitors should also pay a detour to the small church of Ulfas. The church is open all year round.

The Ulfaser Waalweg, or Ulfas water trail, is one of the many irrigation channel trails in Alto Adige, which follow the course of ancient irrigation channels. The Ulfaser Waalweg is a spectacular, undemanding and almost always flat route that connects the Ulfaser Alm to the Waalerhütte and allows you to fully immerse yourself in the natural wonders of the Passiria Valley.

The Lazinser Hof is an excellent stopover during hikes in the surrounding valleys. Situated in a central and panoramic position, the mountain hut is surrounded by large alpine meadows and is located at a high altitude, being the highest farm in the Passiria Valley. Inhabited all year round, the Lazinser Hof area has a long history that dates back to the 13th century, when the first settlements were documented. The farm, with its authentic and picturesque charm, welcomes visitors with its sunny position, offering an ideal place to rest and enjoy the surrounding mountain landscape.
