Above the hamlet of Ulfas, starting from the marked car park, hikers will find hiking trails of all kinds. The forest path to the Ulfaser Alm is a very easy hike with no obstacles. Ideal for families with small children. A irrigation canal path, alpine paths and dream peaks round off the offer. Ulfaser visitors should also pay a detour to the small church of Ulfas. The church is open all year round.

The Ulfaser Waalweg, or Ulfas water trail, is one of the many irrigation channel trails in Alto Adige, which follow the course of ancient irrigation channels. The Ulfaser Waalweg is a spectacular, undemanding and almost always flat route that connects the Ulfaser Alm to the Waalerhütte and allows you to fully immerse yourself in the natural wonders of the Passiria Valley.

The alpine pasture is in a fantastic location, and the mountain panorama is guaranteed. It's worth stopping off for a break after the summit tour to the Matatzspitze or the Ulfaser Waalweg! The selection of food and drinks leaves nothing to be desired. 🤗🥾
