橋は一見の価値がありますが、プロシュートの家のテーブル席で、グラスワイン、スキアッチャータ、または... 神話的なトルテッリ!!!!を味わいながら眺めることをお勧めします。

A small, now uninhabited Alpine settlement, it features a farm-style refreshment point (Bottega di Monticiano). A short distance away is the small Tamburino Lake, the source of the Uscioli River. The main building is the large farmhouse (abandoned and dilapidated) built in 1881 by Count Giovanbattista Asini (descendant of his ancestor, Giovanni Battista Asini, a jurist and professor, who lived in the second half of the 16th century), as evidenced by the stone memorial plaque, complete with coat of arms, embedded in the wall.

Giotto's birthplace is located in Vespignano di Vicchio, on one of the many hills rising in the Mugello. It is a unique L-shaped complex, typical of the Mugello countryside at the time, without any particularly valuable architectural features. It consists of a portico with square columns and a residential structure (now a museum) with a 90° angle, featuring another simple small portico in the center. In the courtyard, an interesting feature is the ancient well/fountain with a mechanical pump. Not far away, uphill, is the San Martino complex, which serves as a subsidiary parish.

A panoramic mountain between the Sieve Valley and Mugello. The trails are poorly maintained, especially those descending into the Mugello, often eroded by rainwater and reduced to drainage ditches. Now, as in many other areas of Tuscany, the Path of the Gods, now popular with young people, has been removed and kept clean, and brambles and undergrowth are everywhere, often obscuring the old trails and making them inaccessible. A real shame! Because the views offered by the ridges and peaks deserve much greater attention, both politically (by local authorities) and socially (by volunteers).

Main path closed due to landslides at the beginning of April 2025, still difficult to travel and not recommended today.
