Located on a rock at the entrance to Sondrio, the Sassella sanctuary is a historical symbol of the city, immersed in the Valtellina Superiore Sassella DOCG vineyards. Originally from the fifteenth century and expanded in the seventeenth century, the sanctuary boasts several important works inside. The small village that develops all around is also beautiful.
