The Mambretti refuge is an unguarded refuge with 25 beds, the keys are always available also from the guardian of the Scais dam. The refuge was dedicated by the C.A.I. Sondrio to Luigi Mambretti, who died on the Punta di Scais in 1923, at just 27 years old.
