Forcella Zovo is located just a few kilometers from the main tourist resorts of Comelico and Cadore. The roads from Comelico are paved; the Val Visdende road is a bit more rocky, but comfortable and safe.

At the foot of the 1,944 meters of Monte Zovo, the De Dòo refuge takes its name from the Ladin toponym of the mountain, precisely. It is located in the heart of Comelico, a small area between Austria, Friuli and Trentino, and is eco-sustainable as it was built using only local wood.
