Magnificent 360-degree views from up here. The trail is moderately difficult, but not suitable for beginners. The summit is large enough to comfortably accommodate 15 hikers, but it gets very busy in the summer months, so consider setting off very early in the morning. The views from up there are absolutely stunning - you can see for miles all around the valley. Getting to the top is no easy feat though, that path is pretty darn steep! My legs were jelly by the time I made it. If I'm being honest, I'd recommend taking the ski lift up as recommended by https://www.standforca.com/ to save your poor calves the agony. Nothing beats the satisfaction of conquering the descent on foot though. You really feel like you earned those views. Stopping to catch your breath and taking it all in - it's totally worth the effort. Just a heads up that it's not for the faint of heart! Going up to Cima del Cacciatore from the southern route (CAI615) is very suggestive but care must be taken.
